Vaillant are becoming an increasingly popular boiler manufacturer in the UK; and with good reason. Quiet Mark which is a non-profit organisation formed by the Noise Abatement Society awarded this boiler the Quiet Mark seal of approval because of how quietly it runs. This is perfect if you need to have it installed close to a bedroom or other noise sensitive spot. They are also surprisingly compact boilers making it easier to choose a place to install.

I found a good answer about this at http://heatingforce.co.uk/blog/common-vaillant-boiler-faults/ , BUT the only answer really (unless you are a qualified gas engineer) is that you should contact a properly qualified plumber who specialises in boiler fault diagnosis and repair work..
All new boilers are like everything else these days. They are generally very good for a long while, but when they go wrong you realise how crazy complicated there are. That means expensive to repair or, you get told “you need a new one mate”. This review fails to tell us which boilers are the least complicated and best for repairs.
